Westfield's Village Progressing Quickly
Steel framing for the retail portion of Westfield's $350M Village at Westfield Topanga is now complete, the Daily News reports. The project, which is supposed to completely re-energize Warner Center as the Downtown of the Valley, has been talked about for decades. A Westfield rep tells the Daily News the retail spaces will be turned over to tenants to make improvements in the next 30 days.
The Daily News reports the Village is more than 90% leased. But Westfield will have its hands full on the leasing front, as just this month Macy's announced it was shuttering locations across the country, including two at the Westfield Promenade.
