New Housing Could Come To The Jewelry District
Following a variety of plans that have been considered for the Foreman and Clark building, Canada's Bonnis Properties recently filed plans to convert it to multifamily use.
The proposal includes adding about 8,500 SF of retail space on the 13-story building's ground floor.
The Foreman and Clark building, at 7th and Hill streets, was designed by Curlett & Beelman Architects, Curbed reports.
The 1929 building was home to the flagship store for Foreman and Clark, a men’s clothing store. It left the building more than 45 years ago.
The building is a Historic-Cultural Landmark. [Curbed]
