Da Vinci Fire Not an Accident?

The latest scuttlebutt surrounding the fire Monday that destroyed the 526-unit Da Vinci is that it may have been arson, according to CityLab. The development from Geoff Palmer on West Temple has been less than popular in the city, with some upset about its massive size and a proposed pedestrian bridge connecting buildings in the complex (Geoff was worried about how residents would deal with homeless people under the freeway). The development was to span an entire city block and total 1.3M SF. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
