Cross Campus Coworking Space Opens in Pasadena
The collaborative workspace firm opened its second space, a 20k SF outpost at 87 Raymond. The company opened the office after a wildly successful two years for its 13k SF space on Colorado Avenue in SaMo. Co-working, which kills the corner office in favor of open space and shared amenities like arcade rooms and Ping-Pong tables, is growing at lightning speed. It offers short-term leases for small businesses in growth mode. Here's everything you need to know about the co-working revolution. Here's the team: Cross Campus Pasadena community manager Ben Snyder; experience director Dougie Campbell; air traffic controller Ruby Chase; co-founder Dan Dato; board member Behzad Kianmahd; co-founder and CEO Ronen Olshansky; and co-founder Michael Kianmahd.
The building is owned by Rising Realty Partners. Here's Nelson Rising, Pasadena mayor Bill Bogaard and Chris Rising. As a business event venue, the new Cross Campus will be set up to host speaking engagements, launch events and workshops with a capacity of around 250 attendees. This comes as the biggest player in co-working, WeWork, has been expanding across the country, including a recent lease in Santa Monica. Rumor has it the company is working on more in LA.
