More Details Coming For LACMA Makeover
For an up-close look at the planned $600M makeover at LACMA, a scoping meeting is scheduled for today.
New renderings and a model of the project, being designed by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, will be on display.
It will also be a time for people to ask questions, according to KCRW.
The groundbreaking for the project, which would replace four buildings at the museum, is expected to take place in 2018.
The meeting will be from 6pm to 8pm in the Broad Contemporary Art Museum building at LACMA. [KCRW]
