Better Than Boom-Time Pricing As Barton Arcade Sold To Singapore Investors
Manchester's 20K SF Barton Arcade retail and leisure destination has changed hands for £18.25M, comfortably above the boom-time trading price of £17M recorded in early 2007.
Mansford LLP sold the Grade II listed building to a Singapore-based family office, understood to be making their second purchase in the city.
Barton Arcade is one of Northern England’s most elaborate and well-preserved Victorian arcades.
JMW advised the purchaser, along with Manchester-headquartered wealth management firm Artorius.
Irish investor Morgan Leahy paid £17M for the Arcade in January 2007.
