Buy a Penthouse, Get a Boat
Going all the way to the cone of South America is one way to find condo buyers, but the developers of Marina Palms Yacht Club & Residences in Miami Beach have another lure for a buyer with $9M to spend for their South Florida penthouse digs: throw in a boat, and a slip to park it. (Throw in a new washer/dryer and we're sold.) Pictured is the boat: a 69-foot Ferretti 690 yacht. The package is tailored for a buyer who wants to live an active yachting lifestyle, DevStar Group principal George Helmstetter tells us. It's designed to attract buyers from all over the world, including those who already reside in South Florida, but who want to capitalize on the ability to have their boat and their home at a single address. DevStar is co-developing Marina Palms with the Plaza Group.
