Retail's Not Too Shabby Either
Investor appetite for retail properties across Florida is growing--but rapid turnaround and the lack of new development means the capital markets have limited properties to buy, according to the Shopping Center Group's Anthony Blanco. His firm's preparing to bring several more shopping centers to the market in the next 30 days. "We're bullish on how they'll be received," he says. ("Hi. How do you do? Get out of my way so I can shop in you," we'd hope.) Recently, the Shopping Center Group repped the sellers of the Shops at Amelia Market near Jacksonville (pictured) and Millenia Crossing in Orlando.
