Boutique No Mo'
South Florida real estate might be growing, but even that kind of market poses challenges: namely how to grow with the market. (Milk and vegetables don't cut it anymore.) That means being able to deliver on all facets of commercial real estate, says Easton Group prez Jose Hernandez-Solaun (who not only works with buildings, but scales them). So his firm is transitioning from a boutique to a vertically integrated business. That means bringing on new leadership to the Doral-based company and creating Easton Real Estate Advisors to expand its investor base, he tells us. Jose recently joined the company as president; previously he was an SVP at GE Capital. He also founded the Hernandez-Solaun Foundation, which educates young adults on the basics of personal finance, credit, and business fundamentals.
