Fully Occupied, Now Fully For Sale
An Atlanta developer has won its industrial gambit on Pompano Beach with an online retailer. The Spice Lab inked a 74k SF lease at Pompano Distribution Center II, a lease which brings the 128k SF facility to 100% occupancy. It's part of a two-building Pompano Distribution Center developed by Robinson Weeks Partners, its first foray into South Florida's industrial market. The company fully leased the first 202k SF building, and Pompano II—finished last year—had a 40% pre-lease.
Cushman & Wakefield's Richard Etner, Christopher Metzger, Christopher Thomson and Matthew McAllister brokered the deal for Robinson Weeks, a firm headed by two Atlanta industrial development icons: Ray Weeks and Forrest Robinson (here). And now the same brokerage firm has been tapped by the developer to put the dual industrial complex up for sale with Mike Davis, Rick Brugge and Michael Lerner.
