Lantana Approves Phase 1 of Mixed-Use Project
The Lantana City Council has greenlit the first phase of the Water Tower Commons mixed-use project. The developer, Lantana Development, is a partnership between Kenco Communities and Wexford Capital.
The partners acquired the 73-acre site at 1199 West Lantana Rd from the state for $15M in 2014. The city approved the 343k SF commercial phase, which include retail, restaurants, office space and a fitness center, the South Florida Business Journal reports.
The site was formerly home to A.G. Holley State Hospital. [SFBJ]
