Palm Beach Medical Group Moving HQ To Flagler Waterview
It probably makes sense that the largest office lease in Palm Beach County last year is a healthy one.
Health Care District of Palm Beach County has inked a 42k SF lease at Flagler Waterview for a term of more than seven years. The mid-rise medical office building encompasses more than 164k SF in West Palm Beach. NAI/Merin Hunter Codman's Hunter Codman, Neil Merin, Lesley Sheinberg and Matt Hedrick brokered the deal.
The Health Care District is a self-taxing, safety-net healthcare system formed in 1988 that provides various healthcare services, including a trauma system, a school health program and health coverage for uninsured residents. The group is expected to move its HQ to Flagler Waterview from Palm Springs by this summer.
"The organization was seeking a downtown West Palm Beach location with full medical zoning and a parking garage to accommodate visitors. Flagler Waterview, which neighbors Good Samaritan Medical Center, met those requirements," Merin said in an email.
