From Motor Oil To Olive Oil: Local Firm Transforms Repair Shop To Tapas Eatery

From carburetors to Carbonara, thanks to Giovanni Rocchio.
The chef-owner of One Door East has just opened his new tapas restaurant in a former automotive repair shop at 620 South Federal Hwy, just outside of Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Miller Construction Co was tapped to transform the 4,300 SF facility into an eatery, which adjoins Giovanni's upscale Valentino's Cucina Italiana.
