Miami: Latin Tech Hub?

Brilla Group general counsel Carlos Deupi, who’s also chairman of the nonprofit Miami Finance Forum, tells us that Miami’s growing as a tech hub--but not an ordinary one. “There are expanding high-tech ventures, many of which have a ‘sabor latino,’ a Latin flavor.” For instance YellowPepper, a mobile-banking and payments company, which got its start in Ecuador decided to move it's HQ to Miami when it wanted to expand to other Latin American countries. MFF is holding an event on the subject in early February.
