North Point Bags Funding For SoBro Marriott Construction

Atlanta-based North Point Hospitality Group has obtained an $89M construction loan to build a Marriott-flagged hotel in SoBro. It will be across the street, at 400 Fifth Ave S, from the Music City Center convention hall.
Plans call for the 21-story tower to include 468 rooms, which would make it the fourth-largest hotel in Nashville. It will have 14 more rooms than the new SoBro Westin, which opens this fall, the Nashville Business Journal reports. JE Dunn Construction Co is overseeing the project. [NBJ]
