CMT Building Trades For $17M
Ben Willingham III acquired the 114k SF CMT Building, at 330 Commerce St Downtown, from a partnership managed by Avison Young managing director Warren Smith. The building traded for more than $17M. Willingham is CEO of Nashville-based AmCorp Realty Corp, which owns The Lofts at the Reserve apartment building at 301 Rosa L Parks and 2210 Crestmoor Road in Green Hills.
The purchase ranks ninth among Nashville's top 10 office investment sales deals so far this year, the Nashville Business Journal reports, citing Real Capital Analytics data. Avison Young will continue to manage the property. Country Music Television anchors the building; the Tennessee Information Consortium and Ortale Kelley Law Firm are also tenants. [NBJ]
