Music Publisher Leaving Music Row For WeHo
Music Row is losing another music publisher. The Nashville office of Toronto-based Ole is moving to 462 Humphreys St., a building in the up-and-coming Wedgewood Houston neighborhood, and will occupy all of the 6,500 SF property. Currently the company is at 1227 16th Ave. S.
The WeHo building, owned by Humphreys Partners, recently underwent renovation, the Nashville Post reports. Ole's catalog includes more than 55,000 songs and 60,000 hours of TV and film music. The company controls copyrights of songs recorded by Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift and other well-known performers.
Cushman & Wakefield's Charlie Gibson and Robby Davis repped the landlord, while Avison Young’s Billy Lyell and Melissa Liles repped Ole.
