Another Music Company Chooses Downtown Instead Of Music Row
Warner Music Group is expanding by about 30k SF in Nashville City Center. The record label will add about 175 positions over the next two years by bringing in a new US finance team that will be based in Nashville. The label's move to occupy space Downtown continues a recent trend of music businesses picking that market instead of Music Row, the Nashville Business Journal reports.
Some of the space the company will take is currently occupied by Gresham Smith & Partners, one of the region's largest architecture and engineering companies. Later next year, Gresham Smith & Partners will relocate its HQ into 222 Second Ave S, which is underway in SoBro. [NBJ]
