Long-Standing Nashville Entertainment Venue Sells

Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre, an entertainment venue in Bellevue for nearly 50 years, traded hands for a little more than $2M. Norma Luther was the buyer and John Chaffin the seller. The 2.7-acre property is at 8204 Highway 100 and has had over 2 million customers over the course of its existence, the Nashville Post reports.

Chaffin has been in the business a long time. He acquired the property from his father, A.W. Chaffin, in 1975. The elder Chaffin bought the site in 1967 and built the barn structure that has since housed the dinner theater business, which offers plays, musicals and buffet dining. Luther said she will continue to operate Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre. [NP]
