Charlotte Avenue Adaptive Reuse Begins Next Month
Work is poised to begin on the redevelopment of the L&L Restaurant Equipment space on Charlotte Avenue into a major food court and marketplace. The 55k SF adaptive reuse, now known as Factory Marketplace, will include restaurants and office space.
Owner Tamay Ozari said marketing and leasing are underway, led by Ari Management Co. Sandhu Consultants International is nearly finished with the environmental and engineering work, and a full-scale interior overhaul of the warehouse space will start in early February, the Nashville Post reports, and be complete in 18 months.
Potential tenants include a flower shop, a pottery business, a delicatessen, a sushi shop, a butcher shop, an Indian restaurant, a French bakery, a café, a distillery, a brewery and Chicago-style hot dogs, according to Ozari. Nashville-based Southeast Venture is handling the exterior design update, while Dowdle Construction Group will be the general contractor. Wilson Bank & Trust is providing financing. [Nashville Post]
