Google Fiber Bets On Nashville As Growth Market
The key question for Nashville now: Is its growth sustainable? Google Fiber head of sales for Nashville Terrence Brooks says yes. He and other experts will talk about growth at Bisnow's first-ever Nashville State of the Market on July 19 at the Doubletree by Hilton in Downtown Nashville.
"The real estate community is keenly aware of the economics related in value creation, so much so that they will ensure enough differentiated supply is available to address the influx of 27 people who move into Davidson County each day," says Terrence. "As the market’s demand evolves, leaders in real estate will make the appropriate pivot."
The city is poised to remain attractive for both employers and employees. "As more corporations look to Nashville for its bellwether industries like healthcare and music, and innovators in technology like Google and others, there will continue to be people looking for the quality of work/life balance offered in our urban core," Terrence notes.
Recently, Google Fiber launched its first connections in the city, connecting four apartment and condo buildings to its gigabit-speed internet and launching a Fiber Space in the Gulch.
