Young Professionals Kick Off National Make-A-Wish Partnership with 55-Story Climb
Today Transwestern will be kicking off its national partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation at 4pm with a stair climb at Four Oaks Place at the firm's HQ in Houston. About 40 young professionals from across the nation as well as the company's executive leadership will climb 55 stories, totaling 1,143 stairs.
The event is spearheaded by Transwestern's Emerging Leaders Council, which was formed after Transwestern was named one of the "100 Best Workplaces For Millennials" by Fortune Magazine. Although Transwestern says the event is targeted towards Millennials because they are "very civic-minded," we suspect it's because they're the only ones crazy (fit?) enough to want to run that many stairs.
