Hostels are so popular nowadays that even Hilton is considering opening some to attract Millennials. If it does, it'll have to compete with some awesome amenities hostels already have to offer. While scrolling through Lifehack's list of 30 most amazing hostels in the world, Bisnow found these five to be the coolest.

    1. Sleeping Block At Asahi Plaza

    Location: Osaka, Japan

    Awesome Amenity: Sleeping block

Staying at Asahi Plaza is an experience you're unlikely to experience anywhere else. At this hostel, you don't really sleep in a bed, you sleep in a 6.5-foot by 3-foot "block." This type of boarding is popular in Japan but hasn't spread elsewhere. After a night of sleep in the block you can relax in one of the many saunas Asahi offers.

    2. The Invisible Lodge At Gyreum Ecolodge

    Location: Sligo, Ireland

    Awesome Amenity: Invisible lodge

Built into the hillside, the Gyreum Ecolodge is practically invisible thanks to a special sloped roof that blends the property into the local scenery. Known as the "round wooden fortress," this Irish hostel overlooks five different counties and offers Irish language classes and residences for artists.

    3. Rock Rooms At Aydinli Cave Guesthouse

    Location: Goreme, Turkey

Awesome Amenity: Rooms carved from rock

Ever wish you could stay in a room carved entirely out of a Cappadocian mountain? This hostel is for you—each room has been carved and individually styled out of the mountainside and outfitted with locally made furniture, with a few family antiques thrown in the mix.

    4. Four Different Beaches Along Costa Verde

Location: Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica

    Awesome Amenity: Four different beaches

This hostel sits in a national park covering over 4,000 acres and offers guests dolphin watching excursions, surfing lessons, rafting trips and the chance to rappel down waterfalls. Seems like a hard place to be bored, especially when you throw in the four different beaches dotted along the property.

    5. Living Museum At Pop Art Hostel

    Location: Belgrade, Serbia

    Awesome Amenity: Living Museum

The only "designed" hostel in Serbia, this retro hostel is also a museum, making this more than just a place to crash for the night. Each bedroom is dedicated to a different figure of pop culture, from Jimi Hendrix to Andy Warhol, and local artists have painted murals in their honor.
