These 5 Restaurant Chains Will Be Open On Turkey Day

National

Though it's assumed most Americans eat Thanksgiving dinner at home, a large number of families enjoy the yearly feast at restaurants. The National Restaurant Association says 14 million Americans will eat their Thanksgiving meal in a restaurant this year while another 16 million will supplement a meal made at home with takeout. Here are five of the largest restaurant chains staying open to cash in on Turkey Day.

    1. Denny's

Not much of a surprise hereDenny's is always open. While the restaurant almost never closes its doors, it is changing its menu around for the holiday to offer a turkey and dressing dinner. If that's not what you're looking for, don't worry, the rest of the menu will still be fair game.

    5. Waffle House

Like Denny's, most Waffle House locations are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They'll be serving up what they serve up best on Thanksgiving, and that means waffles.
