Reaching Brazil Gets Much Easier

The Little Mermaid would be proud of the "under the sea" deal. Telx has reached an agreement with Seaborn Networks to be connected to the companys first undersea cable that leads all the way to Sao Paulo, Brazil. The cable, going live next year, will connect directly to Telxs NYC2 facility at 111 8th Ave and NYC1 facility at 60 Hudson St, both in NY, and its NJR3 campus in Clifton, NJ (above).
Telxs Tony Rossabi saysthe connection is attractive to manufacturers and automotive makers who see Brazil as a key market or supplier. We believe that a direct connect is going to precipitate more growth in our customer base. The cable will offer greatly reduced latency between Brazil and the financial hub of NYC, as well.
