CBRE Acquires Sitehawk Retail Real Estate
CBRE Group has acquired Sitehawk Retail Real Estate, a leading retail real estate services firm with clients like Costco, JCPenney, Gap and Darden Restaurants.
Sitehawk helps retailers with their local and regional real estate strategies, and provides leasing and management services for investors with retail property, like Kimco Realty. The firm services a nearly 8M SF portfolio, Street Insider reports.
Sitehawk was founded in 1982 as the Linder Company of Indiana. (It became Sitehawk in 2007.) Principals Larry Davis, Steve Delaney, Scott Gray and Mark Perlstein will join CBRE in regional retail leadership roles. Earlier this year CBRE acquired another top retail real estate service company: Dallas-based United Commercial Realty. [SI]
