Post-Merger Fallout: Cushman Lays Off 250 Employees
The post-merger fallout continues. Cushman & Wakefield marketing and research development went through a round of national layoffs last week due to "overlapping responsibilities." (Pictured: CEO Carlo Barel di Sant’Albano.)
As many as 250 employees will be affected by the cuts, the latest in a series of job changes in the wake of a massive $2B merger with DTZ. (Forty jobs were cut in New York, The Real Deal reported.)
Despite the hundreds of jobs lost, a C&W spokesperson says the layoffs represent just a small fraction of the combined firms' workforces (about 43,000 employees in over 60 countries). [TRD]
