Marcus & Millichap CEO To Retire March 31
Marcus & Millichap CEO and president John Kerin will be stepping down March 31 and hand the reins to senior executive VP Hessam Nadji, continuing a series of corporate replacements. John joined the brokerage firm as a sales agent in 1981, working his way up to CEO by 2010.
The next CEO currently oversees several of the broker’s divisions that closed $15B in sales during a nine-month period ending last September, Commercial Property Executive reports.
Hessam joined the firm in 1996 as VP of research and is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council executive committee, the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers and NAIOP. [CPE]
