PHOTOS: Starchitect Draws Up A Ski Resort…On A Roof
Starchitect Bjarke Ingels is at it again, this time designing a Ski Village in Finland—where guests can ski on the roof.
Vacationers can go up to the roof and ski down directly to the slopes—without a lift.
This isn't the first time Bjarke has integrated skiing with his buildings—the Danish architect also put together a ski-able power plant in Copenhagen.
The current project, designed for Levi, Finland, will have 500 units ranging from one-room apartments to luxury villas, along with amenities like restaurants, a spa and a market square, according to the development’s website.
