Seattle’s Tallest Tower Set to Fetch $700M

Beacon Capital Partners purchased Columbia Center for $621M in 2007, a then record-setting price for a single Seattle office building. Reports have emerged that they may be looking to cash out on Seattle’s tallest tower. Now, according to Bloomberg, Hong Kong-based property investment firm Gaw Capital Partners has agreed to buy the building for more than $700M. Columbia Center has about 1.5M SF and is currently at 87% occupancy. Both sides declined comment on the potential deal. [BB]
