Trump Pulled Out Of Overseas Projects That Only Made A Combined $323k
President-elect Donald Trump has pulled out of numerous overseas projects since his election to quell claims his presidency will face enormous conflicts of interest given his global businesses. But it turns out all the projects he’s pulled out of were troubled.
Taken together, all of the revenue generated by these projects amounted to roughly $323k for 2015 and half of 2016 — not much for a $3B company, Bloomberg reports. The canceled deals were to attach the Trump brand to towers in Argentina, Azerbaijan, Brazil and Georgia.
It’s impossible to know the true extent of Trump’s conflicts of interest, seeing as he’s refused to release his tax returns, but the president-elect is currently legally and financially tied to business partners in Canada, India, the Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Uruguay, Panama and Indonesia.
