Rudy Giuliani To Help Developer Sell $1B DFW Residential Community
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani might be a busy man these days, joining President Donald Trump’s personal legal team recently and giving high-profile interviews, but he is not too busy to help Megatel Homes sell houses at a new $1B master-planned community in Farmers Branch, Texas, an outer suburb of Dallas.
Giuliani will be guest of honor and speaker at the grand opening party for the development on May 8, along with television personality Kevin O'Leary, the Dallas Morning News reports.
Megatel is the largest residential developer in the master-planned community. Master developer Centurion American Development Group began work there last year. The 370-acre development will eventually include apartments, single-family houses, retail and other commercial space.
According to Megatel, the event is a way to generate interest in the company's Mercer Crossing neighborhood and spur more home sales.
The developer also said it sold Stormy Daniels her house in a different development, though that was before she was widely known outside of the adult entertainment industry.
Megatel is counting on Giuliani's star power to attract real estate agents to the two-hour event. More traditionally, the builder is giving away prizes to brokers at the event: cars and trips to Colorado.
