Pathfinder Loves Colorado
San Diego-based Pathfinders is high on Colorado, closing its 11th deal in the Denver area this week with the acquisition of the Shores at Breckenridge, a fully entitled but only partially completed property on the banks of the Blue River in Breckenridge. (They're out there so much, they might need to get a second home... or just use one of their properties.) Pathfinder senior managing director Mitch Siegler tells us that as a mountain resort that’s only about 90 minutes from DIA, Breckenridge represents the kind of property that will attract both in-state and out-of-state buyers.
Pathfinders’ local partner on the deal is Boulder-based development group Meriwether Cos. When complete, the Shores will consist of 56 attached residences. The original developer, Mesa Development, built the first 14 residences in 2012. Other properties that Pathfinder has acquired in the market include the 107-unit Wellshire Arms in Denver’s Observatory Park neighborhood, the Blake 27 row home project near Coors Field, the Village at Hilltop near Cherry Creek, and the Grant Street Mansion in Downtown Denver.
