DC: Is World Bank Buying 400k SF?
Bisnow has learned that the goliath IBRD intends to leave leases in three downtown DC buildings and buy a consolidated 400k SF somewhere in the region. And that a new target building has emerged. For some time, rumors have included the old Intelsat building at Connecticut and Van Ness and the Exxon campus in Fairview Park. Now the Gannett building in Tysons Corner, Va. (above) seems to be in play. In turn, Gannett is said to be looking for 200k SF in Arlington, Va.
