A Self-Driving Office That Commutes to You?
Imagine a world where your office comes to you: one with no rush-hour traffic or crowded subways. That's the kind of world IDEO CEO Tim Brown and his designers envision for the future. As a fun way to exercise their creativity, the team took the often predicted autonomous car to another level and created a driverless car that can function as a workspace. This car would allow people to work on the go; collaborate in scenic locations; and avoid long, arduous commutes to the office, Bloomberg Business reports. They also imagined self-driving trucks, or "mules," for fresh delivery service of anything from clothing to food. [BB]
