Forbes: CBRE Named One Of America's Best Places To Work
We already know that CBRE has the office of the future—but it turns out the company also ranks 15th on this year's list of America’s Best Employers.
The company recently shook up its headquarters by unassigning workstations, eliminating private offices and ramping up tech capabilities, changes that had 83% of employees feeling more productive, according to an internal survey.
(In fact, we recently did an exclusive sit down with CBRE's Lewis C. Horne, pictured, for an exclusive about next-gen creative space.)
The company looked at how tech was being used in schools and in other parts of the world, including the Netherlands, and turned that into solutions for their own office, Forbes reports.
“We changed the culture,” CBRE’s Lew tells Forbes. “We’ve taken people in their 40s, 50s and 60s and converted them into using technology in a way that makes them more collaborative and more efficient.” [Forbes]
