Midtown Defection Grows: Norway’s Largest Lender Will Move To 30 Hudson Yards
The largest lender in Norway, DNB ASA, is moving its North American headquarters from the MetLife Building in Midtown Manhattan to 30 Hudson Yards as soon as construction is complete.
The bank will occupy the whole 68th floor in the 90-story tower and sign a lease that will run for 15 to 20 years, depending on conditions, Bloomberg reports.
“We always felt that cracking the code of Midtown was going to be our biggest challenge,” says president of Related’s Hudson Yards unit Jay Cross. Luckily for him, the crack is growing—DNB ASA joins KKR, Wells Fargo and Point72 Asset Management among Hudson Yards’ Midtown defectors. [Bloomberg]
