WeWork Gears Up For Indian Expansion With Partner Embassy Group
Adam Neumann is about to make good on a promise he made early this year, and that means WeWork is headed to India.
WeWork recently solidified a partnership with India’s largest commercial property owners, Embassy Group, and is planning to set up shop in Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore in the first half of next year, the Wall Street Journal reports. And it’s not a moment too soon—India is already swarming with competition in the co-working space, with dozens of new facilities opening across the country operated by homegrown competitors.
WeWork execs have not disclosed what the expansion will look like, holding back information concerning design, exact locations, pricing or long-range plans. [WSJ]
