Meet BOMA's 2017 Regional Members Of The Year
It was not just buildings scooping up awards at Tuesday night’s 2017 BOMA International TOBY Awards in Nashville. Four BOMA Regional Members of the Year were honored at the ceremony.
Michael Gill of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston is the Middle Atlantic Region’s Member of the Year. Gill has been a BOMA member for more than a decade, serving on and co-chairing several committees during his tenure. He was president of BOMA/Boston in 2016 and implemented a long-term strategic plan to address everything from promoting operational excellence to building strategic relationships.
Melissa Graham is the Southwest Region’s Member of the Year. With more than 20 years of property management experience, Graham is a leader and mentor within BOMA/Fort Worth. Under her leadership, BOMA/Fort Worth’s Government Affairs Committee increased committee participation and created the political action committee, BOMAFW PAC.
Ian Hughes is the 2017 Southern Region Member of the Year. Under his leadership last year, BOMA/Georgia saw historically high event attendance and record membership numbers. He launched a new leadership training program, which strengthened the local association by identifying and fostering new leaders.
Anna Juarez is the Pacific Southwest Region Member of the Year. She has more than 10 years of experience managing and supervising multi-property portfolios. She has been a member of BOMA/Nevada since 2005 and served as its president from 2014-2015. Juarez has been instrumental to the continued growth of BOMA/Nevada, including its local TOBY Award program.
