My Private Island: Johnny Depp’s Little Hall’s Pond Cay

National Other

Yo-ho, yo-ho, a pirate's life for Johnny Depp—he bought his own island, Little Hall's Pond Cay, for a cool $3.6M after spotting it while shooting Pirates of the Caribbean.

He credits Marlon Brando for teaching him how to buy an island—I guess he "made an offer they couldn't refuse."

The tropical hideaway boasts 360 degree views of the gorgeous surroundings, including little island Osprey Bird Rock, which Depp also owns—because one island is never enough.

A few small houses and a fleet of golf carts are scattered across the remote island. But don't think you'll be booking a vacation here anytime soon, the island is not open to the public.

Depp’s Exuma Isles paradise didn't exactly break the bank—his net worth is around $400M and he rakes in around $20M a film.

The 45-acre Bahama paradise boasts pure white sand, clear blue water, a sweet palm tree-lined lagoon and solar-powered houses. The island's six beaches are named after Depp’s children and former partner Vanessa Paradis.

In February, the actor hosted friends and family on the island after wedding actress Amber Heard. Though the actual wedding ceremony took place at the couple’s home in Los Angeles, they wanted to repeat their vows in front of those they’re closest to on the picturesque island.
