World’s Tallest Wood Building Proposed for Paris
Michael Green Architecture has won a design competition in Paris for its proposal of a carbon-neutral wooden skyscraper. If constructed, the 35-story building would be the world’s tallest wooden building. Planetizen has shared a report from Inhabitat on the Reinventer Paris competition seeking innovative and environmentally friendly urban projects. The proposed building, nicknamed "Baobab", was created in collaboration with DVVD and real estate developer REI France. Michael Green Architecture previously designed North America’s tallest wood building in Vancouver and a seven-story wood office building in Minneapolis. [PLA]
