Last Night's BOMA Welcome Party
Clear skies, temperatures in the low 80s and a spectacular view of the Potomac River—what more could you ask for to usher in the first official evening of the BOMA International Conference & Expo? Yesterday evening, we snapped George Washington (we presume of Cherry Tree Management), BrightView's Erin Donovan and Transwestern's Cindy Niles keeping Honest Abe's seat warm.
Joining the party from over 6,700 miles away were Makuhari Techno's Takao Mitani, BOMA Japan's Tomiyoshi Ogawa and NTT Urban Development Corp's Osamu Tokyo.
We also snapped Able Services' Bob Briones, Oracle Corp's Enrique Garcia-Corrochano, Able Services' Chris Weber, and Oracle's Jonathan Leder and Jack Bray. The Oracle folks were particularly pumped because their corporate HQ in Redwood Shores, CA, is in the running for an International TOBY Award.
Enjoying quality networking time are Next Play Consulting's Anne Sparks and Manny Moreno with Panini's Tom Boyle.
Green Commercial Real Estate Group's Murray Green, JLL's Darlene Pope, Taurus Management Services' Jim DerMinasian, JLL's Edward Manko and Diane Slack, and Colliers' John Scott. (Not only do Murray and John make fine BOMA Fellows, but fine bookends.)
And here are Newmark Grubb ACRES's Justin Farnsworth, Lillibridge Healthcare Services' Joi Taylor, BOMA/San Antonio's Teresa Tuma, BOMA/Utah's Shelli Menegos and River Park Development's Scott Bennion.
In their summer best: ETS's Robby Wildman, Boston Properties' Caroline Kruger, Tishman Speyer's Sean Warfield, Cushman & Wakefield's Ben Comm and Lincoln Property Co's Deb Pyznarski.
We also snapped Columbia Property Trust's Lubie Martin and William Clarke with Able Services' Mark Kelly.
