Colliers International Taps Mendelson, Green To Strengthen Retail Practice
Effective immediately, retail professionals Brad Mendelson and David Green have joined Colliers International’s retail practice in Manhattan and the New York Tristate region.
The two were brought aboard as senior partners and vice chairmen of the firm to bolster Colliers’ retail team, focusing specifically on urban retail and broader iconic retail transactions. These additions come while Colliers is exploring the future of technology and how it relates to retail-friendly smart building spaces.
Mendelson, touted as a top retail professional in New York, has worked on several notable transactions, including the redevelopment at 1530 Broadway—formerly the largest Toys "R" Us in the world—for Bow Tie Partners. Green is an attorney and CPA who has repped high-profile tenants with the long-term lease of space on Fifth Avenue, and Boston Properties in its recent leasing of a former FAO Schwarz space to Under Armour.
“Retail and accelerating innovation are top priorities for Colliers,” COO Dylan Taylor says. “The partnership of Brad and David…will enhance our global high street retail platform. We are thrilled to have them on board and available immediately to deliver services.”
