Walmart Is Throwing 20,000 Holiday Parties At Its Stores Across The Country
Walmart wants customers to get into the holiday spirit. The world's largest retailer is planning to host over 20,000 parties at stores across the country within the next two months, CNBC reports.
By hosting celebrations, Walmart aims to strategically get more shoppers through its doors during the holiday season. The parties will fall under three themes: “Toys That Rock,” which will serve as the kickoff event this Saturday, “Parties That Rock” and “Gifts That Rock.” The latter will provide customers with curated gift guides and toy catalogs.
In addition to the parties, Walmart will expand its offerings by tripling the number of items available to customers both online and in stores. Brands including Cuisinart, KitchenAid, Yankee Candle and Bose will soon be in select stores and on its website, along with free two-day shipping on orders over $35.
