29th Street Capital Snaps Up Property Near TSU

29th Street Capital snapped up The Villagio Apartments, a 180-unit, 492-bed student housing property near Texas State University at 1850 Aquarena Springs Drive in San Marcos.
The Villagio features two-, three- and four-bedroom fully furnished apartments. Community amenities include a resort-style pool with fountains, a grilling area, a fitness center, a private study center and a movie theater.
29th Street Capital plans to spend about $2M on improvements, including new flooring, granite countertops, upgraded plumbing and fresh paint. The company will also upgrade the fitness center, including the addition of spin equipment. The community is 100% pre-leased for the upcoming academic year.
