Science Accelerator Gets First Tenant
The Prince William Science Accelerator, a wet lab space in the works since early last year, announced its first tenant: ISOThrive, a six-month old company launched in San Francisco. It will take 603 square feet of space in mid May. (Kudos to whatever negotiator squeezed in those last 3 feet. Perhaps it was the county's economic development director Jeff Kaczmarek, snapped last April during construction.) The county is committing $9,200 from the Prince William County Economic Development Opportunity Fund to help with ISOThrive’s equipment purchases and in establishing its life science research facility in the county. ISOThrive is also investing $143k in that project. The company is bringing to market dietary supplements through a patented process in microbiome health.
