Types of deals: Short-term bridge lender. Look at the asset and the sponsor’s history and financial stake in the deal.
Most recent deal: $3M first mortgage on a $40M development in Manhattan. Borrower had ballooning loan that needed to be paid off in two weeks.
Memorable deal: Maxim’s first loan—senior $1.5M on 3,500 SF, three-bedroom corporate-owned co-op in Pierre Hotel.
Grew up: Syosset, Long Island.
Current home: Woodbury, Long Island.
