JPMorgan Chase Names New Joint Heads Of Real Estate Lending
JPMorgan Chase announced the elevation of two executives to lead its massive real estate lending operation.
Priscilla Almodovar, formerly the head of the New York State Housing Finance Agency and most recently JPMorgan Chase's head of community development banking, will join Chad Tredway as co-heads of real estate lending. Tredway previously headed up JPMorgan Chase's Eastern commercial term lending division.
The bank's real estate lending division is one of the largest in the country, with more than $90B in loans on its books. By naming Tredway and Almodovar to jointly replace Tom Lawyer as the division's leader, JPMorgan Chase has elevated two people of color to some of the most prominent finance positions in commercial real estate in the country.
