15 Little West 12 Ready For Tenants

15 Little West 12, brainchild of late celebrity party planner Robert Isabell and developed by Taconic Investment Partners and Square Mile Capital Management, is finally ready for occupancy. Above, Taconic's Christopher Balestra and NKF's David Falk, who (with Robert K. Futterman's Karen Bellantoni) gave us a tour of the 80k-SF building. It includes 12 to 18-foot windows and three-sided window exposure, unique to a Meatpacking building. It has nearly 60k SF of office space in 12k to 17k-SF blocks and the balance in retail, and whoever takes the top floor can also have exclusive use of a spacious roof area, with as much footprint as the SoHo House roof across the street (three floors also include terraces).

The building's one of only two premier offices available in the district, they say. Bring your cool if want space: They're aiming for creative tenants, perhaps fashion and media, to join neighbors like Google and The Food Network. The retail portion can be single-user or split into up to four—three 2k to 2.7k SF spaces facing W. 13th and one 4.2k-SF space facing Little West 12th. They're ideally marketing towards flagship retail to join neighborhood trailblazers like Tory Burch, Scoop, The Apple Store, and Chelsea Market. If you're nearby at night, be sure to walk past the building—it has a neat video-art installation called “Chelsea Cinderella,” created by Mark Yurkiw, who's best known for designing the New York Cares homeless Statue of Liberty.
