25 Years Strong
Congrats to Paul Massey and Bob Knakal, who last week celebrated Massey Knakal's 25th anniversary at a jam-packed Tribeca party. The pair met working at Coldwell Banker; Paul was on a rotation of CB departments and arrived in investment sales a few weeks before Bob. The other three members of the investment sales team were at least 20 years older, so these two paired up. And 29.5 years later, they're still together. In the mid-'90s, they started mixing business with pleasure, traveling with senior partners and top sales performers to such places as Prague, Buenos Aires, Puerto Rico, Park City, Utah (where they enjoyed High West Whiskey), and, most recently, Martha's Vineyard.
We also snapped Edison Properties' Robert Scharf and MK's Karl Brumback and the dapper Stephen Palmese. (Give him "festive attire," and he'll go the mile.) Robert tells us Edison is always looking to expand its Manhattan Mini Storage portfolio. In the meantime, he spent the weekend celebrating his daughter's sixth birthday (we've had stuff in storage longer than that).
